- Goals, chores, journal entries, and productivity data you create
- Timer sessions and daily scores
- App settings and preferences
- Billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the service
- Authenticate your account and keep it secure
- Process subscription payments
- Respond to support requests
- Send service-related communications (not marketing)
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Vercel — Application hosting and CDN
We do not sell your data to any third parties and do not use any advertising or analytics trackers.
4. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication. These are session cookies set by Supabase to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any tracking cookies. You can delete these cookies at any time by signing out or clearing your browser data.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security in our database, and secure authentication tokens. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions.
7. Children's Privacy
Keep Sailing is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
8. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know — You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal data we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete — You may request deletion of your personal data. You can do this directly by deleting your account in Settings.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale — We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise these rights, you can delete your account directly in the app or contact us at the address below.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
